Stainless Steel Fabrication
SS 202, 304 and 316 gates, grills and railings, where grade drives the price.
About Stainless Steel Fabrication cost estimation
Grade is the first thing to settle in stainless work, because it changes both the price and how long the job lasts. SS 202 is the cheapest and the least corrosion-resistant; SS 304 is the common choice for gates and railings; SS 316 costs more again and is worth it near the coast, where salt air will pit lesser grades within a few seasons.
Because the grades look nearly identical once polished, it is worth agreeing the grade in writing. These estimators keep the grades separate rather than averaging them into one misleading number.
