Fall Protection Net

Fall protection & fall arrest nets for construction, warehouses and fragile roof work. EN 1263 systems, trained riggers, documented inspections.

Fall Protection Net

Working at height without protection is a gamble nobody should take. A fall protection net is the passive safety layer that's always on duty — rigged under working platforms, atriums, shafts and fragile roofs, it arrests a fall softly and immediately, with no action needed from the person falling. That's what makes nets the backbone of height-safety plans alongside harnesses.

TrueInstaller connects you with verified fall-arrest netting specialists serving construction sites, warehouses, industrial plants and maintenance contractors.

Where fall protection nets are used

  • Under-deck rigging — below steelwork, shuttering and roof erection zones.
  • Atriums & lift shafts — horizontal nets across voids during construction and maintenance.
  • Fragile roof work — beneath asbestos/sheet roofs during repair and solar installation.
  • Warehouse racking & mezzanines — edge protection where pallets and people work at height.

How it works

  1. Post your requirement — location, span/area, height and how long the net must stay rigged.
  2. Survey & method statement — the specialist confirms anchor points and clearances below the net.
  3. Rigging & test — installed by trained riggers, then inspected and tagged for use.
  4. Periodic inspection — scheduled checks with re-certification for long projects.

Frequently asked questions

Does a net replace harnesses?

No — nets are collective protection that work with (not instead of) harness systems. Together they cover both planned work and unexpected slips.

How much clearance is needed below the net?

Enough for the net to deflect without the person touching the ground or obstacles — typically 3 m minimum for standard rigs; your rigger calculates it per span.

How often must nets be inspected?

Visual checks weekly, formal inspection after any fall event and re-certification per the manufacturer's schedule (commonly every 12 months).
