Every job follows this path. You can stop at any step — nothing forces you forward.

Enquiry arrives, or you create one

A customer books a site visit from your public profile, or you add the request yourself after a phone call or a walk-in.

Schedule the site visit

Pick a date and time slot, and assign it to yourself or a team member. They get a notification, and you can send the customer's details to them on WhatsApp.

Measure and quote

Take measurements on site and build the quotation. Three kinds: Fabrication (priced by measurement and area), Product (from your inventory) and Direct (type anything, no inventory needed). Add a remark on any measurement for the workshop.

Send it, collect the advance

Share the quotation link on WhatsApp or send the PDF. When the customer agrees, record the advance payment against the quotation and set the status to Order Confirmed.

Schedule the installation

Raise the installation straight from the confirmed quotation — customer, address and item list carry across. Assign a technician and share the job sheet with them on WhatsApp.

Fit the job, mark it done

Move the installation through In Progress to Completed. The customer can be sent the schedule and the technician's contact at any point.

Convert to a GST tax invoice (optional)

If the customer needs a tax invoice, raise it from the quotation in one tap. Items, rates and GST carry across, an invoice number is allocated, and the balance owing is tracked against it.

How it works

The pieces you'll use most

Fabrication quotations
Enter height and width in any unit — feet, inches, mm — and the app converts and prices by area. Add multiple widths to a single opening and it draws the partitions for you.
Team
Invite a technician by email or mobile. They approve the invitation from their own app — nobody is added silently. Once they're in, you can assign them site visits and installations.
Payments
Record part payments against a quotation or invoice with the date, method and reference. The outstanding balance updates as you go.
WhatsApp
Sharing a link or job sheet through your own WhatsApp is free. Sending automatically through TrueInstaller uses message credits — 50 free every month, then top up as needed.
FAQ

Common questions

No. You can create a quotation directly, and schedule an installation directly. The site visit step exists for jobs that need measuring first.

Fabrication prices by measurement and area — grills, nets, glass. Product pulls items and rates from your inventory. Direct lets you type any item, description and price with nothing set up in advance.

Yes — create one from Quotations & Invoices → Invoice. The convert route just saves you re-typing everything when a quotation already exists.

No. Once a quotation has an invoice, the convert action is replaced by "Already invoiced" and shows you the existing invoice number.

Fabrication quotations and site visits save on your phone and sync when you're back online. Anything that needs a number from the server — invoices, payments — needs a connection.

They need a TrueInstaller account, and they must accept your team invitation first. Until they accept, they won't appear in the assign list.
