Canopy Installation

The entrance is the handshake of a building — and a bare doorway in the rain says nobody thought about the people walking in. A canopy fixes that: a fabricated cover over entrances, windows, walkways and ATMs that shelters people, protects the door from weather and gives the façade a finished, deliberate look.

TrueInstaller connects you with verified canopy fabricators who design, weld and mount canopies in polycarbonate, glass, metal sheet and tensile fabric.

Canopy styles we build

  • Entrance door canopies — compact cantilever covers over main doors and shop entries.
  • Glass canopies — toughened/laminated glass on SS spider or MS frames for a premium look.
  • Polycarbonate canopies — light-filtering, unbreakable and budget-friendly.
  • Walkway canopies — covered paths connecting gates, parking and lobbies.
  • Tensile canopies — sculpted membrane forms for gardens, cafés and event areas.

Installation process

  1. Post your requirement — where the canopy goes, rough width/projection and your city.
  2. Survey & design — anchoring surface, slope and drainage planned; design sketch agreed.
  3. Fabrication — frame welded, primed and finished; glazing/sheeting cut to size (3–6 days).
  4. Mounting — brackets anchored into RCC, canopy erected, sealed and water-tested.

Frequently asked questions

Glass or polycarbonate for an entrance canopy?

Glass looks premium and stays crystal clear; polycarbonate is lighter, tougher against impact and cheaper. For high-traffic public entrances, laminated glass or polycarbonate are the safe picks.

Does a canopy need pillars?

Most door canopies are cantilevered from the wall with rods or brackets — no pillars. Long walkways use slim posts every few metres.

How is rainwater handled?

The canopy is set with a slight fall, and larger units get a concealed gutter and downpipe so water doesn't sheet off the front edge.
